🎉 I helped four more people land their Product roles! That includes hires at eBay and Walmart! As of now, I’ve proudly helped 179 people since September last year. Keep reading to find out more!
I don’t know how many ways I can say “I am so proud of those people and happy I could take a small part in their success”. I can tell you, however, an interesting stat: We are on the 269th day of the year and I have helped 142 people since 01.01.2022. This would mean I managed to help a single person at least every second day! I clearly recall sitting in a rented flat at the end of December, setting the goal of 150 people helped this year and thinking: “To reach 150 I would have to have successfully assisted a person every second day, that’s crazy! Anyway, let’s try!”.
Wow.
As for other things, the Microsoft Hackathon was successful and I had much fun with my team :) 3/4 of the planned projects were completed, and perhaps 4th as well! I spent 3 days editing promo videos for them and I SO want to share them with you, but corporate hired assas… legal experts would be all on me! Not sure I can share the project topics, but definitely I used so much copyrighted material to create engaging videos, that definitely I can’t post them as a Microsoft employee :( If any of the projects win a prize, I will try to share SOMETHING to celebrate.
I’m having a hard time progressing with PM education work; Some stupid cold is raging in Warsaw and brings people down left and right. I managed to avoid being stuck to a bed, but have little energy. I am working through re-editing module 2 of the original course and I will likely re-record module 3 next weekend. I’m planning to release the shorter version of the course on a new platform as well as planning to script 2 more, shorter (1–2h) courses on meaningful Product topics :)
