What languages should you select for your Product?

According to last week’s poll, 75% of Product Managers work on a Product covering at least 2 languages. But which languages to prioritize? It’s easy:

According to an article by Nitro Translate, the general top 10 languages to choose are:

1. French
2. German
3. Spanish
4. Portuguese (Brazil)
5. Italian
6. Japanese
7. Chinese (Simplified)
8. Ukrainian
9. Korean
10. Turkish

However, it’s not one size fits all! Turns out that some types of products will benefit from prioritizing different translations. For example, you will do best to invest in Italian, Spanish
and French for mobile apps, but for video games it is German, French, and Spanish in this order.

What are the benefits of translating your product from a product manager’s perspective?
